Environmental sustainability

For the Aruba Group, respect for the environment is part of our company philosophy, motivating us to work tirelessly to improve the quality and efficiency of the data centers used to provide our services.

Climate Neutral Data Center

We are committed to achieving the targets of the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact

We are working to help reach the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact (CNDCP) targets set for 2030.

The CNDCP provided the major cloud infrastructure providers and data center operators with a historic and instinctive obligation to work towards a climate neutral economy.

We power our data centers with Guarantee of Origin (GO) certified electricity from renewable sources

Guarantees of Origin (GOs) are electronic documents that certify, in compliance with sector regulations, the renewable source of the electricity used.

Guarantees of Origin, based on availability and sector regulations, can be purchased on completion of a year and integrated into the following year even with tools of equivalent value.

We produce energy from hydroelectric and photovoltaic plants

We produce clean energy using our photovoltaic and hydroelectric installations.

Photovoltaic panels are installed on the extensive surfaces of our data centers and we also own hydroelectric plants across the country.

We design and build data centers that are green-by-design

When we design a data center, from the outset, as well as considering how to guarantee maximum reliability, security and performance, we also think about how to achieve maximum efficiency and energy saving.

The consolidated experience in the construction of large data centers and our innovative approach, right from the beginning of each project, allows us to maintain high levels of efficiencies in all the stages, such as the management and monitoring stages.
