Environmental sustainability

For the Aruba Group, respect for the environment is part of our company philosophy, motivating us to work tirelessly to improve the quality and efficiency of the data centers used to provide our services.

Climate Neutral Data Center

We are committed to achieving the targets of the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact

We are working to help reach the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact (CNDCP) targets set for 2030.

The CNDCP provided the major cloud infrastructure providers and data center operators with a historic and instinctive obligation to work towards a climate neutral economy.

We purchase Guarantee of Origin (GO) certified renewable energy to power our data centers

Guarantees of Origin (GOs) are electronic certificates that verify our electricity comes from renewable sources, in compliance with sector regulations.

GOs can be purchased annually, depending on availability and regulations, and can be carried over to the following year with equivalent value tools.

We generate clean energy from hydroelectric and photovoltaic plants

We produce renewable energy through our hydroelectric and photovoltaic installations.

Our photovoltaic panels cover large areas of our data centers, while our hydroelectric plants operate across the country.

We design and build data centers that are green-by-design

When we design a data center, from the outset, as well as considering how to guarantee maximum reliability, security and performance, we also think about how to achieve maximum efficiency and energy saving.

The consolidated experience in the construction of large data centers and our innovative approach, right from the beginning of each project, allows us to maintain high levels of efficiencies in all the stages, such as the management and monitoring stages.
